Julie Ditrich is being billed as the first Australian female comic book writer with her new story for The Phantom - but is that true?

Can any of our Australian mates help us?

No Idea. She may be the first Australian Phantom comic book writer, but I would be surprised if there weren't some female independent comic book creators.

I believe Trudy Cooper had done Australian comics back in the '90s. The earliest Platinum Grit stories were in print before becoming a webcomic. Most of her current effort seems to be the NSFW webcomic Oglaf.

Looking for something to do in HMP Britain, I came across this new Phantom card game:

https://gamefound.com/projects/games-by-lyck/the-phantom-the-card-game

Seems a little pricey perhaps at 40 euros (although I'm a bit out of touch on prices) - but it does look magnificent - definitely added to my Christmas list.

Great to hear there's a Phantom Board Game too - from Frew:

Sadly, it appears to have sold out - maybe there will be a reprint

Have they ever offered Phantom rings?

Or are they worried about the fans using them the way the Phantom used his rings?  ;)

I had some super cheap plastic ones as a kid. I'm sure there's been tons of them in all kinds of varying quality, it's the most obvious kind of Phantom merch you can make.

Yes, many times, as this article attests.

I wouldn't mind a Good Mark ring.
The ones from Planet Studio look pretty good.

Cheers!
