Major Armstrong & Thriller 058
« on: July 23, 2020, 03:37:52 PM »

Andrew posted on Thriller 058, re The Saint tale, but in the back there is a true crime story about the Hay poisoner.  What's weird is we watched the 2 parter about this last night. Michael Kitchen, Sarah miles, Bernard Hepton.  Weird as we didn't know it was based on a true story and it turns up the next day.
The title is Dandelion Dead and it's on youtube:-

That is a little gem, all actors firing on all cylinders.
But, Paw, did you miss this one?

You will notice that the picture of the wife built up by the photographs and the written evidence is very different from that of the TV show.

Goodness - what an absolute find! I've never seen this - and I love Michael Kitchen as an actor. Just watched the first five minutes and the production values are first-class. Definite viewing for me tonight and tomorrow - serendipity!
