I've just read the TV series Utopia has been cancelled.

The series is about a group of disparate comic book enthusiasts who find clues hidden in comic books that lead them to believe a conspiracy is planning a worldwide pandemic to create the conditions for the birth of a new utopia. (weird, huh, as if?)

Why would they cancel a well-received series? Beats me......

I watched the show until the first or second episode, but when someone was tortured and the evil guys planned to have one of his eyes removed with a spoon, I turned it off. I like zombie and monster films, but this "real horror" was to much for me.  ???
