Scripting Issues
« on: March 26, 2010, 03:32:56 AM »

The Script that runs the downloads here is garbage, outdated, and causing conflicts with the host. This is not a storage or bandwidth issue.

I have submitted a ticket to the bluehost scripting team as this is also a script issue on their end with updating security features. They are slow and have a script person look at these things at 11:00 am.

Thanks for the update, Janus,
Any estimate on a revival date?

Stupid question: Is it possible to just set the files up on a different (type) of server with superior scripts? It's not like anyone has a sentimental attachment to the coding.

Ultimately, the site hosts files and allows uploads and downloads. Presumably it's far more complicated than that, but sometimes it just takes a stupid question to get the thought processes looking at things differently.
