I'm keeping an eye open for Silk, the new Amazon series currently in production. The lead character, Cindy Moon, is a classmate of Peter Parker and was bitten by the same radioactive spider! (What a nasty little arachnid - still, I suppose if you're radioactive, it must make you a bit scratchy).

Anyone know if they've caught that spider yet - or will there be more spider-people crawling out of the woodwork later?

You got me there for a second.  Being the nerd I am, I immediately thought you were going to talk about the real Silk, the masked vigilante in novels by William J Elliott.  No such luck.

In early books he is described as covering his face and head with a hood of black silk.  I often wonder if Elliott got his idea from El Ancapuchado.  HMMMMMMMM!
