This one looks right up my street - post-historic steampunk action - what's not to like?

https://www.scifinow.co.uk/books/adler-review-adler-kadabra-shell-reach-out-and-grab-ya/

I believe it's already appeared as a five-issue mini-series but I missed that. I've always been a fan of the Irene Adler character (pronounced i-Ray-na obviously) - easily forgotten now, it was extremely brave of Conan Doyle to produce such a strong female protagonist with ambivalent motivation at the time - and the ambiguous relationship between Irene and Holmes is tantalising - would Holmes go as far as enjoying a physical relationship with a woman? It raises questions.

Has Irene appeared in any Golden Age comics as far as we are aware? I know she has appeared more recently in some strange situations (including a bizarre appearance as Destiny, a super-villain in Marvel Land)

I look forward one day to an Adler TV series - now that could be interesting, viewing Sherlock from a different perspective......we know what Sherlock thinks of Irene but what does Irene think of him - and would she be more attracted to Moriarty perhaps, or that cad Sebastian Moran (whoops - there goes my imagination again - I've been warned about that)

Irene Adler has had quite a career, as have most characters in the Sherlock Holmes canon. As listed here,

I'm sure this list isn't definitive either.
And, a surprise to me, the civilian name of the X-men Villain 'Destiny' is Irene Adler.
Lists on sites like ComicVine are usually confined to English-speaking sources. there are likely other examples in European and other non-English publications.

In Elementary, a series which I really need to bingewatch,  Irene Adler is actually 'Jamie' Moriarty.
