If you haven't seen the first series of Pennyworth yet with its heavy sixties Michael Caine vibes and blow-away performance from Paloma Faith, then you should really give yourself a slap on the wrist - intelligent series like this are as rare as a kindly dentist and should be cherished.

Good news therefore that DC have announced a comic book series to run alongside the show - can't wait to see what they do with it.

That'll be interesting, considering that in the mainstream Dc universe they have just killed Alfred off, and he left a fortune to Dick Greyson.
