I have uploaded a new comic narration video to my channel, I Read Classic Comic Books. It is from Treasure Chest of 1961 and is called THIS GODLESS COMMUNISM, complete with music and sound FX. A story of what a family's life would be like in a Communist United States. It is the first in a series on the history and aims of communism, as important a topic today as in 1961.

Of course, full credit to ComicBook+ at the end. (I actually used my own scans of the original book for this video, but the rest of my videos will draw from ComicBook+ archives). Already has 20 views and I just uploaded it. One of my aims is to inspire greater love and interest in classic comics, outside of monopolies Marvel and DC. I have created an I Read Classic Comic Books channel on half a dozen video sites, including YouTube. Planning to narrate all entries on the history of communism from Treasure Chest.

There will be ten chapters in all, plus one about "Red" China. Each one is around 10 minutes or less and they grab the viewers' attention from the very first second, or at least try to.

Also interesting to see that most of the videos on Brighteon are from the Trump-associated movement "We the People." 

I don't know if they are mostly Trump associated, but many fall into the so-called "conspiracy theory" category. This is one reason the whole site is banned on Facebook.

Some of the videos are admittedly "out there" but many at least have some nugget of truth. Besides, banning speech that does not violate the law is not supposed to be the American Way. We remember how this turned out in the 1950s with comic books.

Some people thought the Brighteon site seemed a little dodgy, so heres the link to the latest installment on YouTube. Ironically, the videos are actually doing better on the smaller video sites, on which it is posted on about a half a dozen. YouTube allows the snazziest channel graphics, but the size of it actually works against the new creator in some ways: too much competition! On the smaller sites, people are more likely to stumble across new videos.

Theres a scene where Trotsky gets assassinated with a pickax, and I found an appropriate ax murder sound effect on YouTube (amazing how you can find a sound effect for everything on YouTube), but I dont know if it makes the scene gory or humorous!

Unfortunately they had to butcher more than thirty homeless people before getting the effect just right.

I wont be updating the thread every time I post something new to my YouTube channel, but I just wanted to announce that I have finished the 10-part series on communism and capped it off with a story on communism in China to bring it into the present era. Found a really great (and chilling) sound effect of World War II airplanes bombing a village that fit in perfectly.

For the future, my plans are to release a great comic story full of World War II era patriotism from Real Life Comics of September 1941. It involves uncle Sam bringing kids on a tour of the history of freedom throughout the world and why America is so great!! I plan on releasing this on US Independence Day July 4.

Other comics in my plans are a couple on gun safety, The glories of capitalism and even one on propaganda distributed to US troops during the Korean War! I would also like to do a few on historic Americans who seem to have fallen out of favor with the American public in recent years.

As you can see, I am leaning towards the educational side of things, but I feel there are enough TikTok videos out there of people seeing how many donuts they can stuff into their face in 60 seconds!
