Yes.  Welcome to CB+!   Is the title "Baron" in your Username because your family comes from the petty nobility class? - or it is based on your favourite comic book or comic strip character?

The Baron series - John Creasy

First thing I thought of. Don't know if there was ever a Baron comic.
Paw should be able to tell us.
I think there might have been a Baron strip in one of the British 'papers' while

the Baron was a TV show.

Baron Karza and the rest of you, I'm a bit stumped as I don't know if The Baron ever appeared in a British comic.  I mixed up The Baron with Man in a Suitcase - both series I enjoyed but haven't seen in decades.  I thought MIAS was a strip in one of the tv comics but right now I can't find it.  Memory could be playing tricks.
But the books by Creasey are good reads (under the pseudonym Anthony Morton), although I prefer The Toff and Patrick Dawlish.  Dawlish is a bit like Bulldog Drummond and the first few stories move along at pace - (Gordon Ashe is the pseudonym here)
Audio adaptations of Inspector West have been on Radio 4 Extra recently with Patrick Allan as West.

D'oh!

Looking at some of those old Baron episodes, i discovered that both the script editor and the main scriptwriter was Terry Nation. [Creator of the Daleks]

I'd never heard of The Baron, though I'm familiar with The Toff. The name sparked a suppressed memory from an earlier time: The Baroness. Back in the 70s, when action-adventure paperback series like The Executioner were hot, I was suckered into buying a pair of Baroness books. I was a Modesty Blaise fan and The Baroness looked like a Modesty Blaise clone. Wrong. The books were cheesy spy novel cliches sprinkled with a few laughable hardcore sex scenes. Apparently there were eight volumes, all written by one Donald Moffitt. So help me Wikipedia has a page devoted to her.
