Hello! I might have something...
« on: June 25, 2010, 01:06:04 AM »

Hi all.  Obviously I'm new.

I just found this site today, and I wasn't going to bother registering just yet.

Then I saw something called "Batmania" under your Fanzines, and I had to find out:

Is it "BATMANia! Extremely Bat Jokes"?  A 1966 bootleg joke book I was given as a child.

And it occurs to me that simply asking you would be easier than downloading it to see.  If it is the same, then I don't need to download it, I already have it.

But if it's different, I might have something to share with you.

Well...

I'm both dissapointed and delighted.

Delighted, because I might just have the only remaining copy of "BATMANia!"

Dissapointed, because nobody else has ever heard of it.

And what value is bootleg Batmanorabilia if nobody knows of it?

Would Chris Sims even care?

These books present an interesting case. They are not copyright but can they be copied. Check with Janus and see if we could host the book
