Any iOS experts out there? I know you must be logged in to download files, and I am. In the old time radio section,  when you tap a show on iPad, it opens a new window and starts playing. The problem is, there are no play controls – no pause, no resume, no jump ahead. This means if my listening is interrupted or if I fall asleep, as I sometimes do if I listen lights out, there's no easy way to jump back to the part of the show where I left off. If I tap the download button on the show description page it doesn't actually download, just opens the same "player" page.  I thought it would, say, send it to iTunes so I can listen there. If I tap and hold on the download button, I get open, add to reading list, copy or share, but no download. Any way to download on iPad? iOS 10.3.3.

 I think I see what the problem is. This iPad and version of iOS is too old. If I use a newer device I get the play controls. I can continue using this old iPad for reading comics but I should probably listen to the OTR on a newer Device.
