I've uploaded two comics this week:

THE LEGION OF SPACE #1 - first issue of a 4-issue space opera. Hailed at the time as an amazing work by Phillip Wearne, a 17 year old creator, it later fell from grace when it was discovered that the ideas and, in fact, the title were plagiarised from a novel by Jack Williamson (which had received very little distribution in Australia due to war time restrictions). Despite this big problem, the art is quite good for such a young creator. Wearne never worked in comics again. (This is online now)

EL LOBO THE MAN FROM NOWHERE #2 - an early issue in the 23-issue run of this western comic by Keith Chatto. Westerns were very popular in Australia, with some obvious similarities to Australians living in the bush. (I've uploaded tis today, so it should be online soon)
