There's a book about "The Golden Age of Australian Comics, I'd bet you'd really enjoy reading:
"From 'Sunbeams' to Sunset: The Rise and Fall of the Australian Comic Book (1924 to 1965)", by Graeme Cliffe
Published by Comicoz in 2019. 256 pages (lots of scanned book covers and inside page examples.  It covers the entire history of Australia's Golden Age of domestic comic book production, until they were swamped by American imports.  It costs About $53 - $75 (AUD).
