Hello all, It seems Popeye enters the public domain next year, probably just the real early stuff though. Will comicbook plus put any up next year, or is Popeye in the too hard basket?

Maybe we can upload some or all of the Thimble Theatre's first year newspaper strips in which Popeye appeared?

That would be good to see. One website said that Popeye as a character was in public domain, but his spinach superpowers were still protected for a couple more years.
