Hi;

First of all, thanks for the website! I've been wanting to read Captain Marvel's 'Monster Society of Evil' for years now, but was unable to find a copy for less than 150.00 :)

That being said, now that I have read it, I was wondering if I would be able to post the CBRs of those issues, perhaps recompiled into a single CBR file or two, on another website, but clearly redirect people to this website to give it (and the original uploaders!) credit, if that's the preference.

[******* EDIT: OH, and by 'another website', I mean I would create a website for that express purpose - either a Google Sites webpage or a a self-hosted webpage]

My interest is simply to 'get it out there', to share it with other comic-loving people as widely as possible, with the whole focus being on that series/run.

So, in short, would this violate the terms of use of this site?

Thanks!

Something like this?

The more sites the better -- however, it is polite practice to note the scanner of said file. Ultimately, these are pd files and you can do whatever you want with them, the idea is to not anger people while you're doing it  ;D otherwise you get a bad rap and end up being banned within the  larger over all community.

I have a post somewhere listing various GA-PD sites, you'd have to dig for it because I keep misplacing it. DCM & GAC-UK tend to mirror each other in offerings, while Fury Comics serves as a great resource for those stuck in dial-up sadness.

I hadn't precisely decided on the format of presentation yet - it may simply be a description of the story arc and character, as well as the CBR files and image excerpts from those, or maybe even online galleries....

I *will* be sure to credit the original uploaders, and appreciate the quick reply! Whatever I do, I will post about the end result here, so that people can see how their initial contribution is still being appreciated.

Thanks!

Consider that some of us are nutty enough to spend our own money to buy books just to spend hours to scan them so others can read them for free (gotta be something wrong with us :P. Most of us want the scans to get out there to the more the merrier so we feel our time and money was better spent.
