Wash Tubbs and Captain Easy

I'd enjoy seeing some of Roy Crane's Wash Tubbs/Captain Easy adventure strips uploaded to the Comic Strips section; many of them predate Terry and the Pirates, so I'm sure they'd be in the public domain. Would it be possible to see some of these tales on the site?

If you're a fan of the real Sunday Funnies from way back, you would probably like a copy of Stephen D Becker's Comic Art In America. I found this in the library when it first came out , and finally got a copy from Amazon.com. Just checked them for the heck of it, and found a few reasonably priced used editions. Highly recommended.
