How to search based on date updated
« on: April 01, 2008, 03:15:10 AM »

Is it possible to search based on when a scan is uploaded? Or is there another way to know what has been added to the site after a certain date?

Thanks,
octal

Have you used the following link?

http://goldenagecomics.co.uk/stats2.php

On the download site, I often type in the letter "e" in order to see a larger view of new downloads. However, be warned, the larger view of downloads does not work as it once did pre-crash.

What I get is a page of links to some (but not all) of the recent additions. Should I be getting some other functionality?

You lost me on this one. Where do you type the letter e?

Confused,

You would type the letter e in the search box, seems to bring up all the comics though not just the new ones. Usually the stats page would get you all the new scans, it is only when l set up a new section that we get more than the stats page would show.

When I click on the search link at the top of the main page, I get a search page with a box to enter a search term. Had no idea that e would bring up a list of all the books. Are there any other search shortcuts?

Thanks,

The 'e' is mostly...let's call it a coincidence more than a shortcut.  It's a common letter, so it'll find you a lot of files, since almost all of them will have the letter e in them.

Personally, once I realized that the filename was part of the search, I started to search for a period (.), since you can guarantee that every single file will be caught every time.

The other ("stats2") page is for when you're "caught up," since it's the most recent additions.
