Hi Gang, here's a couple of books I've longed wanted to read.
It's the legendary 'Airboy vs The Rats' talked about in Steranko's History of Comics.
A two part story with lovely Ernest Schroeder artwork. AB fights talking rats for a rare two issue epic. Fun stuff!

Fiche scans were by Darkmark with a tiny bit of cleaning up by me. The Airboy stories came from Doortree's Goldenage Comic Book Stories blog. They were posted Aug. 22 at this link for those that want only that story: http://tinyurl.com/5swb3f

YVW. If you have the chance to hear "Three Skeleton Key" on OTR (an ep of Suspense, I think) listen to it. It's a goodie and it's probably, as Steranko noted, the inspiration for the Rats story. (They also did the Rats thing better in the Golden Age than Chuck Dixon and company did in the 1980's Airboy.)
