Good harebrained action with wisecracking superheroes the Black Terror, the American Eagle (the strength and buoyancy of an eagle??) and the Liberator. Plus Ted Crane foiling a plot to kidnap the child Dalai Lama; Pepper Swift, unusual because it's the kid sidekick who's the hero; Larry North, U.S.N., which is appealingly hard-boiled; and some service comedy with Rooke Riley for dessert. Good value for your dime, even a 1942 dime.
