Ages ago, Steranko referred to this specific Airboy story in the 2nd volume of his History of Comics. Now that I've seen it, I have to say it lives up to its rep. I think because it's not supposed to be a Horror Comic, it's one of the most genuinely frightening comics stories I've read, more effectively chilling than any EC story I know--even with the talking mouse. !0 for the story, though I have to give the book as a whole an 8. (Oh why couldn't there have been more Simon & Kirby Flying Fools?)
