100 pages of Charlton humor from Atomic Mouse to Timmy the Timid Ghost and many more. Cover to cover but it is missing the top half of the ifc because I had to use a stripped copy.

Narf, thanks so much! This issue has a "Happy, The Magic Bunny" story in it! Happy transforms into his Big Bunny Blue super-persona by saying the word "Alizam".

Hmmm...I'm trying to figure out who this character reminds me of...wink wink...

Check the sleeves for a clue.  Give up?  It's...Phantom Lady!

Does anybody know offhand if the Happy/Hoppy story is a reprint or previously unpublished?  I'm not sufficiently motivated to try to find a match, but if anybody does know, I'm kind of curious.

Camera comics 2,3 and 4 now up. 5-8 are scanned and I am editing them. That completes my JVJ collection and I hope to get them in the mail tomorrow. BTW I have the tifs if anyone thinks that they need further editing. BTW Yoc the Rod Cameron was mine using my auto feed scanner. I will be starting back to school Monday so will be taking a scan break after 40 from JVJ plus several more of my own that I have done since Thanksgiving. I will be looking for some crappy books to cut off the spine and autofeed. I have already done an issue of Cowboy Love that was missing the centerfold. Hope to get it up plus the other Camera Comics tonight.

Books arrived today, narf,
Thanks for the "extras" - always appreciated.

Peace, Jim (|:{>

Help needed to identify these or just enjoy them as they are. Think one is a Happy Rabbit issue and the others Goofy Comics but since they may have interchanged characters I do not know for sure.

Moved to suspect folder; I thought we were only allowed Famous Funnies 1, 2, and 191-208 due to Buck Rodgers in the other issues.  Nice scan, though!

Circus of Fun #3
« Reply #445 on: February 17, 2009, 10:22:37 PM »

I figure that there are only a few people here who would be interested in downloading this book. Then I figure that there are even fewer people who have the book and willing to scan and post it. So while this may not be on anyone's want list, it is now put into digital preservation. Well I am pleasantly surprised that within minutes 6 people downloaded the book. I just got both issues of Puzzle Fun with George Carlson art throughout. Also arriving today Jack the Giant Killer a rarity from a one comic company Bimfort. JVJ will probably want to download this one when I get it scanned and posted. He does not have it and the art is pretty good.

Cover and first two stories are by H.C. Kiefer and the one signed "Gantz" is by David Gantz. I don't know who did the last story.

Thanks Jim
I got the Gantz and when you say Kiefer it seems obvious. I can recognize him pretty well in Headline Comics when I am looking and expecting.
