Konga #1 (1 of 27)

It's interesting how they used unconscious telepathy to transform the mad scientist into a hero without changing the story. Kim L. Neidigh

Ditko's art transformed what was a pretty terrible movie into another great read. There were probably many annoyed readers who read this first and then went to see the disappointing movie.

I agree with cavecarson. Ditko is almost always good, but this is a particularly nice job. Funny how a well-drawn movie adaptation can make a poor movie look good. The Dell Hercules adaptations drawn by George Evans are also good examples.

Well drawn Ditko art makes me wish that the producers of that horrible boring movie KONGA would have hired Ditko to do the story boards. Things may have turned out a lot different !
