MUNDO FUTURO is one of the best comics by an spanish publisher in the 50's. Uno de los mejores comics editado por un publicador en espanol. Las historias estan bien redactadas e incorporan valores morales. The art by Jaime Rumeu Boixcar is polished and at a high level along with Caniff, Raymond, Foster or Jesus Blasco Monterde.

"Mundo Futuro" is indeed a good comic. And Boixcar a good artist, no doubt about it. But the equal of Foster, Caniff or Raymond? No and one thousand times no. My friend Petrus, Boixcar is a realistic artist, and as realism goes, there are many better artists. Blasco from Spain, Lopez Salinas from Argentina, Raymond Poivet from France or Frank Godwin from the States, for instance. These gentlemen can hold the comparison with the big three but Boixcar definitely not, in terms of technique. I like Boixcar though, his characters are a little bit stiff and alike, but it has a dignified style that match perfectly the gentle kindness and humanity of the plots in "mundo futuro" as well as in "hazañas bélicas".

The 1st thing this reminded me of was "SKY MASTERS OF THE SPACE FORCE" by Jack Kirby & Wallace Wood. I wish I could speak or read Spanish!

Undoubtedly "Boixcar" was a great comic book creator. Greetings.
