In the letter column, a fawning letter by soon-to-be-Marvel scribe Bill Mantlo.
   By The Australian Panther
Like one of the letter-writers I am no fan of Pat Boyette's art. His layouts and figures are OK, but if ever an artist needed an inker, it was Pat Boyette. Where was Vince Coletta when we needed him? The Costume is terrible, but the character had potential. Elements of his origin remind me of Doc Savage actually. Calling the character 'the Peacemaker' was a mistake, makes the contradictions in that type of character hard to ignore. Better to have called him Iron Man or Captain America or even Batman, who all are the same kind of character and fight the same kinds of evil.
