Interestingly, El Zorro was early work, he changed his style to humorous comics, published mainly at the publishing house Bruguera. His most famous character is 'Sir Tim o'Theo'. quite versatile, not many do that.
Sherlock Gomez, ( Obviously pronounced Holmes) would be a strip I would like to have seen.
He became a freelance artist in 1959. He began a collaboration with the British Fleetway agency, and published in UK magazines like Film Fun and Buster.
Here is a site dedicated to Spanish comic artists with a page of his work.
