Thanks to the owner and scanner. I collected Sarge Steel back in the 1960s.

   By Johnny L. Wilson
I thought both the main story and the Tiffany Sinn back-up were delightfully representative of the '60s spy craze. I really didn't read Charlton Comics except at my barber shop when I was a kid and I sure don't remember this title. "The Third Hand" featured terrific art by Dick Giordano, especially the '60s fashion and the Jaguar XKE (though not named). I felt like the guy got ambushed more times than Toby Peters in the Sam Spade parodies I love to read, but that's okay--he was emotional enough to get blindsided more often than not. His closing gambit was interesting. The "Tiffany Sinn" story was quite amusing, a better "Girl from U.N.C.L.E." story than any of the television shows (although I'm not sure I really watched any of those episodes for the story, I think I watched it for Stephanie Powers). Anyway, if you had told me before I read this comic that there was a spy character named Tiffany Sinn, I probably would have thought it was an X-rated comic. I'm delighted it wasn't. This character was quite entertaining, even though I didn't like the art quite as much as that in the main story.
