Thank you, FraBig, for yet another great compilation. I've read some of the Dr. Diamond stories as I'd been going through the Cat-Man books. Now, I'll enjoy all of them, easily reading one story after another! Thanks again for all of your efforts in gathering these pages together!

Dr. Diamond is repeatedly described as a "young American surgeon." Frankly, the way he's drawn he doesn't look THAT young (and Doogie Howser aside, most people who've finished medical school and advanced training aren't so young anymore). Oh well, a minor issue. I've read a lot of the Cat Mans but I somehow didn't remember Dr. Diamond at all.

An interesting character indeed. I note that at only once did Dr Diamond appear on the cover. A sign that someone wasn't impressed by the character? Also, the character he has most in common with, is the DC Villain ECLIPSO, who if I remember rightly uses Black Diamonds to make people villainous. There was also a Western Hero called Black Diamond. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/black-diamond-western/4050-1253/ AC comics took the name for a female hero - apparently earmarked originally for a movie starring Sybil Danning, the 4 issues noteworthy for Paul Gulacy's covers. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/black-diamond/4005-48285/ The comics industry can be very incestuous, can't it?

Frabig, is there a Ragman archive coming up? This version of the Black Widow only seems to appear once.Did ATLAS complain? Cheers.
