Thanks for collecting this truly bizarre series. It's strange that in the middle of an almost unbroken stream of bad art, there's one episode, beginning on page 39 done by somebody who really knows how to draw (his Sorceress is completely off-model, though.

Man this is weird.
I think it's easy to overlook because it's so low-quality, but a comic series of this era having a villain as the protagonist is really rare. The Sorceress of Zoom just commits mass murder and turns people into zombie slaves, only to get away at the end with at most a minor blow to her pride. She's vain and self-centered. She's evil to the bone, and heroes are mere obstacles. I can't really think of any other characters like this from the golden age, when every story had some condensed moral exposition in the last panel. Interesting.
