| Notes | PHANTOM COMMANDO 17 (series 2) by Maurice Bramley was published by Page Publications in 1970, and contains is a reprint of three stories published earlier in the 1960s. Unfortunately, records of what appeared in each issue of the Phantom Commando are very incomplete. There were two series of the Phantom Commando, originally 16 issues published by Horwitz Publications between 1959 and 1964. Horwitz commenced a second series in 1965, commencing with #13, and the title was turned over to Page Publications with #15 and continued to #18 in 1972. Page specialises in reprints of previous comics, and there are often long gaps between issues – comics published by Page often were found in sample bags at agricultural shows in Australia. | |||
