The start of a new adventure. Jimmy Olsen calls the Daily Planet to tell them about a gang of smugglers at Lighthouse Point. Clark Kent travels up to Maine to discover several mysteries and rescue Jimmy from drowning.
While camping in the mountains, a woman takes an 'Efedrin' tablet, which turns out to be poison! Gregory Hood and his friend report the death, but find themselves arrested for murder!
Bob Feller appears in one of the commercials. The story is based on the events of October 4, 1949. A hitch-hiker murders a New Yorker and steals his car and clothes.
Hank Blennis is found lynched, and Charlie Drain is determined to punish the killers. The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on November 15, 1958.
