SynopsisArt accepts a teaching job in a small town. He falls in love with Liz and they decide to get married, but she asks him to take a job at a college elsewhere and he agrees. In their new town, gossip spreads about a romance between Liz and student Dan. Art finally hears the rumors and angrily confronts Dan and Liz; the gossip was all started by several jealous people. Art apologizes and reconciles with his wife.

SynopsisNancy was raised by her older sister Sue after their parents are killed. Home from college on vacation, Nancy meets Sue’s boyfriend Jim and sets her cap for him: "I want that man, he’s just my type!” When her efforts to romance him fail, Nancy lies and tells Sue that Jim made a pass at her. Sue, upset, runs outside and is struck by a car. Sue is blinded and Nancy offers to donate one of her corneas. However, before the operation begins, a doctor discovers Sue’s eyesight can be saved. A repentant Nancy can now find romance with her longtime admirer Bob.

Her mother tracks her down and compels her to return to the stage, but Abby breaks her ankle and can no longer perform. Abby and Jed are reunited and Abby’s mother apologizes for her dominating ways.
