The comic book is an unacknowledged adaptation of Ray Cummings' science fiction novel "Tarrano the Conquerer" that began appearing as a serial in the July 1926 edition of Amazing Stories, and has been reprinted many times since. It is actually a pretty faithful adaptation of the novel.
