So glad this showed up. I'd only seen a couple of examples of Sidney Smith's pre-Gump work. Doc Yak is more consistently innovative visually and more fun to look at than the Gumps (the latter, important for its massive popularity and pioneering the soap opera genre). Cant wait to dive into this generous collection! thanx!!

Yes! Great artwork and very funny. I can certainly see Smith's hand in the drawing and sense of humour in the gags. Great to have this on board.
