Claire is helpless to prevent Greg from bringing Bob along for a double date with Helen. Helen steals a watch but isn’t caught. Claire forbids her to see Bob again. Greg learns about Claire's refusal to seek help for Helen's condition and breaks up with Claire: “You’ve destroyed whatever feelings I’ve had for you!” Claire sacrifices to provide for Helen’s treatment and is eventually reunited with Greg. |

Word gets back to Tom and they reconcile. |
