Frenzied melodrama in this one. Stereotype Arab prince almost snags American gal who's unaware he wants her for his harem (Thinks: "I should have studied more about Arabia in school!"). When her friends try to stop her, the man threatens them at gunpoint, socks the girlfriend (the narrator) and ties her to a tree while he abducts his would-be bride. BUT--when they catch up with the pair and the girl rejects her captor, he says, "Gee, I'm sorry." and gets off scot free. By the way, the Arab is named "Abdul Abulbul." No indication of whether Ivan Skavinsky Skivar would attend the wedding.
