NotesBROCHURE for THE BRODIE MACK CORRESPONDENCE ART SCHOOL. The school started some time in the 1930s. Brodie Mack is the penname of Edward ‘Ted’ Brodie Mack, who was born in New Zealand and started producing gag cartoons and cover illustration foe New Zealand magazines. He migrated to Australia to do the same work in a larger economy, as well as theatrical writing and producing Kazanda (with Peter Amos (the penname of Archie Martin)). These comics were published in Australia, Britain and (substantially edited) in America.

There's also 'preliminary instructions on the study of drawing', which I hope to add in the immediate future.

Interesting piece of history. How things have changed in the last 100 years! I wonder what those illustrators would say if they could come back and see all the technology available now.

Is The Ghost Man still around? I think he'd like to add this to his Vintage Inkwell Academy library.

This is grand and I like his rendering style. Cheers for the awesome share and I hope to see more of Mack's course one day. Cheers for the look out and shout out SuperScrounge!
