What gets downloaded

At a glance it looks like Romance is the least popular here. This is followed by children/teen then funny animal. It looks like war is slightly less popular than western then horror and superhero are tops. In each genre there are exceptions for artist etc and this was at a glance only, your observations may vary.

Stats show these are the top 5 downloaded comics on the site:
- Fighting Yank 012 (635)
- Whiz Comics 001 (1940) (FULL) (596)
- Slave Girl Comics 001 c2c (587)
- Strange Worlds 003 (1950) (574)
- Super-Mystery Comics v03 002 (543)
- Rulah 018 (522)
- Four Favorites 008 (515)

Number in () is the number of downloads. No idea what bottom 5 are thou :)

I notice that files uploaded by goldenagecomics.co.uk tend to have much higher download numbers than the other files; I assume that's largely because they've been around longer.

Just looking at my own uploads, I've only had a quarter of my files crack 100 downloads.  Most popular by a fair margin were the two issues of Jumbo I posted, followed closely by Superheroes. The one that surprised me the most was the issue of Jingle Jangle, which has also cracked 100 downloads; I guess there are more George Carlson fans out there than I expected.

The numbers before the crash are waaay off. When things were brought back online after the crash everything prior to the crash had over 200 downloads regardless of actual. Not sure how that translated on up the line.
