Is download limit per day or per month?

Hi all-

I registered with GAC about a week ago, and so far my bandwith limits have not reset.  While looking through the forums for an answer, I'm finding conflicting information.  Clicking the yellow announcement at the top of the forum pages tells me the limits are 20 files or 200 MB per day.  But when I read through forum messages, several have reported that the limit is per month.  If anyone knows which is true, please let me know?  Thank you very much.

Limit was changed by the new owner to monthly for newbies to encourage forum participation for status upgrades

So status upgrades are gained only through posting or can one get upgraded through a contribution to GAC?

You're purposely trying to make me crazy, right?!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Janus is working on other ways for people to gain VIP status, but for now, a paypal donation or a contribution of pd scans that the site does not have are the only ways to gain upgraded status to VIP.

Of course... after having asked the question, I noticed the scrolling notice at the top of the page. So.... never mind... ;D

However, when donations are working... would a donation bump status up?

That scrolling notice needs to be changed -- donations are being accepted via Paypal. Use the email in my siggy and your funds will reach Janus and he will initiate your upgrade in status.
