Trying to come up with all the comic characters "inspired" by the SPIRIT

- Midnight
- The Clock (revamped costume)
- Mothpiece (Similar outfit)

Anyone else?

The Clock would be a bit of a backwards influence as he pre-dated the Spirit but his costume change would reflect the Spirit's influence. Much as Captain America influenced the bulk of the Shield's later stories, pre-Captain America, the influence seems to be Superman.

Otherwise, it's a bit difficult. There are a ton of non-powered characters who only wore a mask with street-clothes, but to say it's the Spirit influencing them and not the Phantom Detective or Spider pulp covers or radio shows of characters like the Green Hornet... such as Timely's Phantom Reporter and Mr. E.

I thought at least one Micro-Face story had a very Eisner type feel to the art and story, but the character is clearly not a Spirit influenced character.
