This is a film I never knew existed. This is a colorized version.  Colorized film has improved a lot since the early days. This one, not being a noir, is not ruined. Works quite well actually.
I never knew that Forrest Tucker made 3 SF films, this one, 'The strange world of planet X/Cosmic Monsters' and 'the Abominable Snowman' These all all UK productions, (1956 - so he must have been in the UK for a while.
I never knew that Forrest Tucker and Warren Mitchell were in the same film together.

I saw this on Youtube just about a year ago.

Forest Tucker has been a favorite actor of mine ever since F TROOP.  In fact, that show is at the the TOP of my "wanted" list, as far as, it's the next SITCOM I plan to buy.  (After that, GET SMART, then, THE NANNY, after that... we'll see.)

Back when I did my parody comic GALACTON 2230, I "cast" no less than 5 members of the F TROOP cast in it.  All of them I found, very easy to capture on paper!

One of my favorite lines in the whole story was delivered by Larry Storch, who said... "It's these UNIFORMS we're wearin', Sarge! They stand out like a Telarite at an Andorian bar mitzvah!"
