Opening scene lifted wholesale from THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD. And then Dick Briefer's version was pilfered again by Marvel, updating the Frankenstein Monster to the 1970s in its b&w horror magazine MONSTERS UNLEASHED. Actually, Briefer's original would have worked well with just some ink washes and graytones added. Looks a little bare here just shorn of all colour, but still a classic.
