Hi Everyone!! If you are having fun with Comic Book Plus, and enjoying reading all our wonderful books, please read down as YOUR HELP IS NEEDED NOW!!

In case you do not know, this site and that of our best friends at the Digital Comic Museum would be a pale shadow of what it is now, if it were not for the efforts of a comic book pushing character named Jim (aka JVJ). Over the years, he has collected 1,000s upon 1,000s of comic books. BUT more that that, JVJ has volunteered to send them off to scanners so that they can be digitized for posterity and beyond! So far we have 3,270 of his comics and counting fast!! He is the main man to blame for all those wonderful "wasted" hours.

Here is a list: https://comicbookplus.com/?cbplus=jvjarchive_s_s_0. Each one of these is from Jim's personal collection, He has posted them out in batches to scanners, who after "doing the business" sent them back home again!!

The deal is that it is all for FREE, and that just the actual postage costs are paid for by donations.

Now for the BAD NEWS!! We have just had a look in the postage fund tin and it is BARE!! Well, that is apart from a button and a washer, but they aren't much good!! So we need to get this topped up ASAP!!

I know we can rely on you, enough said!! So please donate whatever you can to this worthy cause. You can give to the fund using Paypal https://www.paypal.com - the account to credit is orders@bpib.com. Apart from Paypal fees EVERY cent is spent on postage. This is a battle which must be won.

So PLEASE DIG DEEP TO KEEP THE PARCELS COMING and help defeat the comic book prohibitionists!

I think paypal is the only option, cause I'm pretty sure Jim's using it to pay for postage online.

I guess you could send a check or MO to Jim, but you'd have to contact him and get his address (for that matter, I'm pretty sure Rangerhouse, Soothsayr & Tilliban have it since they ship the books back to him when they are done scanning.)
