Yes, I rate this issue as the best of Dell's Andy Hardy issues.  It has the staging and feel of the best of John Stanley's best Henry Aldrich issues.  Clearly Al Hubbard was the finishing artist.  But, I wonder if Stanley wrote the stories and drew the storyboard sketches.  Especially the farcical lead story has the feel of Stanley's staging. Stanly was great with sneaking in subtle humour, and using less exaggerated facial expressions and body language, but still sneaking in a funny atmosphere and background tone, (especially in the stories that he not only boarded, but also conceived and wrote, himself).

I like Stanley's Henry Aldrich best among the Teen Comedy comic books, with Andy Hardy second, the earliest Archie stories in Pep, Jackpot, and Archie #1-10 third, and MLJ's earliest Wilbur (#1-10) fourth.  I really didn't like Timely's, Lev Gleason's, Ace's, D.C.'s, Fox's, Fawcett's, Quality's, Harvey's, Farrell's, Avon's, St. John's, Standard's, ACG's, or any of the other teen comedy/romance comics at all.
