I failed at the .cbz standard.   I didn't read before I uploaded and when I read I don't see a way I can fix?

Thanks rangerhouse

In general Ranger, the zip standard seems preferred to rar. Not sure why some people use rar. Any program that will do rar will do zip. Glad to have the files from what I understand the cbr will just take a little longer to start and use a little more resources.

Hi ... yes cbr (rar) are trickier to deal with, but at the moment we seem to be processing them OK. I ought to alter the wording on the upload page a bit to reflect this. In an ideal world the best is a cbz with no directories and files called 000.jpg (the cover) then 001.jpg ...all the way down. When I get some time I was going to see if we could liaise DCM and come up with a joint preferred format. But anyway at the moment just keep the files coming! (PLEASE)

Regards,

Mark

DCM can handle both but I've been pushing for people to use zip and cbz files for years.  Most uploaders use them.

Just wondering how come I cannot edit files after I upload?   Was going to change name on Silver Streak 17,  this is a different version than I did for DCM.  Just wondering.

Note - Silver Streak #17 scans exist in TWO version.
The version here on CB+ is a RAW scan.
You can also find a colour Edit version on DCM at the following link -

HI ... it is most likely a cockup on my part. How/where did you change it? Are you talking about an edit link on the download page? If so I know I have a problem with it and will fix after I had written the latest uploads page. Is this it? If it is that, rangerhouse do you see the link on you uploads?

O BTW I have been meaning to contact you about helping me set up a feed to Facebook like you did for DCM

Hi Gang,
A sharp eyed member of DCM noticed this scan was still missing six more pages!
You can find a C2C upgrade of the Colour Edit v2 on DCM here -
http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/index.php?dlid=18600

For an explanation of what is missing and where to find it read the forum entry here -  http://digitalcomicmuseum.com/forum/index.php/topic,2245.msg36956.html#msg36956

I hope some kind staff member here will grab the missing pages and add it to the Raw ver 1 hosted on CB+

Thanks Ranger the cbz is a preference not requirement. Mark even has it set up to automatically change zip to cbz and rar to cbr
