Once again Mr Tweedy has come up with the goods. He alerted me to a new batch of scans he has done of Thriller Comics Library.  Up to now I have uploaded #29; 85; 95; 100; 113; 128; 129; 131; 141; 142.
Another batch to follow.  I just have to extract the mac stuff from each file, zip and change the extension.  Then look up and add in the credits where I have them.
You will find them here:-
https://comicbookplus.com/?cid=3476
I'm sure we're all grateful to Mr Tweedy for sharing this bounty with us.
Happy reading.

Right, some uploads today.  All British. 3 x weeklies aimed at girls/young women.  They are, Glamour; Marty; Romeo. You'll find comic strips, tips, problem pages, ads aimed at young ladies, stars of tv, stage and screen and in the case of Marty,  photo strips.  Also an issue of Mirabelle Pop TV and Film Star Library with a comic strip in back.  This issue features Russ Conway.  You can find them here:-
https://comicbookplus.com/?cid=270
There are few more issues of Schoolgirls Picture Library, courtesy of Mr. Tweedy but I'll need a bit of time to check them out.  Enjoy these relatively rare comics.

I've been intrigued for a while with the Spanish masked mystery men - and women - from Spanish comics.  We have a run of the comic books of El Encapuchado on site, but he was also the hero of a series of very popular pulps.  In those pulps he co-starred sometimes with the masked mystery woman, Mascara Negra. I discovered she had a short run of comic stories in the weekly, Coyote, so I've made a short compilation and uploaded it:-
https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=79073
Thing is, I haven't a clue if there were other comics featuring this character.  If any of our Spanish comic fans can shed any light, that would be great.

Essential Catman by LTC.  There was something wrong with the way this file was put together, it wasn't showing properly on the comps page. I've fixed it and it's here:-

Courtesy of leegsidd, we have another TV Picture Stories issue and this one is an adaptation of one of my favourite tv shows of the late '50's,  Sword of Freedom.  Marco del Monte was played by Edmund Purdom.  Nowadays I suppose it seems a dated and tame but back then, I thought it was really exciting.

Today we have one of the pamphlets which appeared in the early '50's in the UK which were part of an organised attack on comics. A sort of British Wertham.  As American comics were relatively rare in the UK in the '50's, the emphasis was on the British reprints.  The government of the time were involved and a secret document for the cabinet has come to light. You can find it here:-
https://downthetubes.net/?p=23475

The pamphlet is here:-

Rock Robot is a great find. Nice 50s craziness. Is it true that Rock Robot is the father of the Rock'em Sock'em Robots who hit the big time in the mid 1960s?
