"Northern Lights" anyone?
« on: July 08, 2008, 02:44:00 AM »

Hi,

To Yoc, Aussie, or anyone else who may have some more knowledge about this:  Seeing that #5 of Bell Features' "Triumph Comics" is posted here, I was wondering  if this means that Nelvana of the Northern Lights is considered to be in the public domain (as oposed to just the comic book as a whole)?  I don't know what the differences between Canadian and U.S./U.K. laws about this might be.

In addition, I thought I might as well ask  if anyone knows anywhere the rest of the (31 or so) Nelvana stories could possibly be found? (If anyone did, I assume they'd be posted here already, but it never hurts to ask)

Thanks all!

Sorry but whether or not a character is public domain is a lot harder to say, we only look at the copyright records for the comics in the USA, you would need a lawyer to work out intellectual property laws.

Thanks Cimmerian!  Somehow I missed that Super Duper #3 was posted.

I thought that would probably be the case, thanks.
