Hello!
« on: August 28, 2008, 10:19:14 PM »

Hi everyone!

My name is Kila and Im a part of the X-Men generation. I remember my mom bought me a subscription of three titles and, as luck would have it, two of my three selections were ending (one of them was Battlestar Galactica). I had to choose so I took a chance on the X-Men because there was a black woman among them and Im glad I did, because I  became immediately hooked. Ive been away from them for a while since the universe split into so many facets, but the reason I stumbled on to this site is because of my involvement with a company that stages readings of Golden and Silver Age comics in Los Angeles. I was trying to fund out whether the comics we were considering were public domain and lo! look who I found!  Thank you so much! not only does this help out my company, but Im now being drawn into a part of the comic book world I never knew about.

Again thank you and Ill be searching for that donate button :-)
