A circus-acrobat-themed graphic novel from the notable and radical artist and illustrator William Gropper. Gropper is known for his political artwork, cartoons and illustrations in books and pamphlets.
This novel about the "life and love among the acrobats told entirely in pictures." is an excellent example of the early graphic novel form.
