The cover story is something of a moral quagmire. Wracked with guilt after killing a man in the ring, a boxer reinvents himself as a meek office clerk. His icy female boss torments him with verbal abuse and homophobic slurs. Finally he pops his cork, socks her boyfriend, and forces himself upon her. Then we learn it was all a set-up: the boss recognized him, fell in love with him, and used tough love to shock him into regaining his manhood. Even allowing for different attitudes in different times, this is a strange story.
