The artist who drew the Dick Turpin strip in this issue and the next was New Zealand born John McNamara (1918-2001). For the Amalgamated Press in London he worked mainly on their Thriller Comics/Picture Library series. Between 1953 and 1956 he drew seven titles and contributed to an eight. A fuller account of his career can be found on https://book palace.com/acatalog/ArtistsBiographies.html#BIOGM. I love Hugh NcNeill's work, but he produced an awful lot of Dick Turpin pages. McNamara began so well on this 15-part serial that it's a pity he couldn't complete it.
